Promotion of International Exchange
This Global COE Program will further strengthen human resource development through the personnel exchange program with universities in East Asia as well as enhance the research activities undertaken through an international exchange program with universities and institutions across the globe. As a first step, an international exchange promotion committee will be formed by its main members: the Center, East Asian cooperative institutes for education and research, and the BRI.
This committee will devise policies for holding periodic international symposiums and undertaking international exchange activities, including the dispatch and acceptance of graduate students, invitation of well-known researchers from overseas, and information exchange opportunities between domestic and foreign researchers. The committee will also publish annual reports and newsletters in active efforts to provide information about such international and academic exchange activities to partner universities.
